Huroth, the dragon chieftain, recognizes a need for his kind to adapt, by forming alliances and mate-bonds with humans, but his clan is divided. From the first time she meets him, Lady Orwenna is drawn to the magnificent chieftain. The mind link he forms with her is both fascinating and frightening, as is the powerful attraction she feels for him. If only she knew what was in his heart.
Does he want her for the woman she is, or for her magical abilities? When war breaks out between kingdoms and ancient enemies of the dragons resurface, the clan will be tested. In the midst of uncertainty, can Huroth and Orwenna find their way together?

Review: I loved the idea of a clan of dragon shifters, and was not disappointed by this story. The plot is very fast-paced and keeps readers caught up in suspense and romance. The story is well-written and extremely detailed without getting you bogged down in minutia.
I enjoyed getting to know Orwenna and Huroth. They are both intriguing characters. Orwenna is strong and independent, unwilling to let anyone control her life. Huroth is protective of everyone in the clan, and is determined to do what is best for all of them.
While this book was fascinating and enjoyable, I also found the plot a bit too predictable. It's a very light romance, and perfect for those who love dragons.
I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

"A cinematic thrill, “Dragon Wife” is an epic adventure from beginning to end. Ms. Green’s world-building is stellar and her sweeping descriptions paint vivid canvases worthy of an exposé. Imaginative and fresh, her tale invites the reader to enter the home of the dragons and stay awhile. With bold characters, steamy romance, mystical elements, and an adventurous story line, “Dragon Wife” isn’t just a toe dipper. It requires indulgent submersion in its fantastical bubbles.
