Synopsis: It was the kind of invitation Katie Stillwell had only dreamed about: a dinner party at the Sonoma mansion of famed wine collector Paul Rafferty to celebrate a rare bottle of wine. Everyone enjoys drinking the $19,000 wine, but Katie realizes it's not the older vintage listed on the label. When she confides in Mr. Rafferty, he asks her to investigate, and she soon discovers the deception goes beyond money. As Katie falls deeper into the world of counterfeit wine, she learns everything is at stake—even her life.

Review:

A cozy mystery series which revolves around wine country and wine? Yes, please, count me in! That was my thought process when presented with the opportunity to join this book tour, and continues to be true after I have read the book.

I was not surprised to learn that the author herself is a certified sommelier. Her knowledge of wines and wineries is extensive, which comes through in the writing of the book, and makes it that much more interesting.

Katie is a fairly likable character, although she does have her moments when she irritates me. Tessa, while appearing to be a much more flawed character, is also likable for the most part. As a team, the two play off one another perfectly.

There are a lot of suspects, and a lot of secrets, when it comes to the murder. I enjoyed trying to solve the mystery right along with the characters, including falling for the occasional red herring along the way.

**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.**
Rating: Five stars
