Review: One of the things I enjoy about this series is that with each book I learn more about stained glass and glass products.  It's a fun way to learn about the topic without being overwhelmed with too much information at one time.

All of the characters work so well together and are very relatable. I love that Jacob is learning to deal with his anxiety issues--it's amazing to see his character change and grow throughout the series.

Of course, there is a murder mystery to be solved--and this time, Amanda is a suspect. We find out she was keeping secrets from the others, but is one of those secrets that she killed Martin?  I think you'll be just as surprised as I was by the reveal of the murderer and motive

Review: I'm a huge fan of this series, and I think I enjoyed this book even more than the previous one. It is obvious the author is well versed in the glass business, as she lets us in on the intricacies of the art form and the business end of things as well.

I enjoyed the fact that Savannah's character seems to be growing and finding herself a bit more in this book. She knows what she wants, and has a plan to achieve it. Quite a change from the girl who originally planned to sell the glass shop in the first book.

The murder mystery is well crafted as well. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing right up to the end. I look forward to Savannah's next adventure, as well as learning more about the art of glass making.

Review: First offering in a brand new cozy mystery series, and it seems very promising. The main characters are all fun and engaging. Amanda is the perfect best friend for Savannah--virtually no filter as opposed to a more reserved Savannah. And I love the fact that the author provides us with a character unique to this series, at least to my knowledge. Jacob has Asperger's Syndrome as well as severe asthma and is depicted very realistically, along with his adorable service dog, with his struggles and his triumphs. I hope he will be a regular character in the series.

Reading about the characters using a variety of codes and cyphers to solve the mystery was interesting and fun. I also liked reading the descriptions of the stained glass work.The mystery itself was a bit predictable, which was disappointing. I tend to prefer those that keep me guessing to the end.

I look forward to the next installment of this series.
