The local law enforcement accepts the circumstantial evidence and considers the case closed. Imogen refuses to believe that Rhonda the Seer is a killer, and sets about trying to find the real murderer. Of course, she ropes her friends into helping and finds herself in several life-threatening situations, including one with the real killer.
Loved getting to know all the characters from the first book better, and seeing the relationships grow and change. Imogen and Iggy are beginning to get closer, which will be important to her career as a baker. I also enjoyed the continuing flirtations between Imogen and Hank, although things still seem pretty hopeless for the two of them right now.
Excited to read book #3, Mermaid Fins, Winds & Rolling Pins, which publishes later this month.
